Payment Policy

This Payment Policy applies to Vortevia (the "App"), operated by Vortevia, and governs subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds.

By subscribing to or using paid features of the App, you agree to this Payment Policy.

1. Billing Platform

All payments are processed exclusively through Shopify Billing.

Vortevia does not process payments directly and does not collect or store payment card or banking information.

2. Subscription Plans

Vortevia offers monthly subscription plans only.

  • There are no annual or long-term prepaid plans
  • Subscription pricing, features, and limits are displayed inside the App at the time of purchase
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled through Shopify

3. Free Trial

The App may offer a free trial.

  • Trial duration and limits are displayed inside the App
  • Trial access ends automatically when the trial expires or when a paid plan is activated
  • Trial access is provided on an "as is" basis

Vortevia may modify or discontinue trials at any time.

4. Usage Limits and Tokens

The App may display tokens or similar indicators to help merchants visualize usage.

Important clarifications:

  • Tokens are not a stored value, credit, or currency
  • Tokens do not represent ownership of future usage
  • Tokens are used only as a visual and internal measurement of feature access
  • Usage limits are tied to the active subscription and billing cycle
  • Tokens do not roll over, accumulate, or carry forward
  • Unused capacity has no cash or refund value

Actual feature availability is determined by the active subscription plan, not by token balances.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin panel.

  • Cancellation stops future renewals
  • Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing cycle
  • Cancelling or uninstalling the App does not automatically entitle you to a refund

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are not automatic.

Refunds may be considered case-by-case, subject to all of the following conditions:

  • The request applies only to the current monthly billing cycle
  • The request is made within a reasonable time after the charge
  • Minimal or no meaningful usage has occurred during the billing cycle

No refunds are issued for prior billing cycles.

No refunds are issued once substantial usage has occurred.

All refund decisions are made at Vortevia's discretion, except where required by applicable law.

If approved, refunds are processed through Shopify Billing in accordance with Shopify's policies.

7. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • Shopify may retry the charge
  • Access to paid features may be limited or suspended
  • Continued failure may result in subscription cancellation

Vortevia is not responsible for disruptions caused by failed payments.

8. Pricing Changes

Vortevia may change pricing, plans, or feature limits.

  • Changes apply to future billing cycles only
  • Shopify will notify merchants where required
  • Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance

9. Taxes

Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Shopify and displayed at checkout.
